Detox water is made by adding fresh fruits, vegetables and/or herbs to ice water and then letting the ingredients soak for a few hours (at least two hours) in the refrigerator. The longer the fruits, vegetables and/or herbs soak in the ice water, the more nutrients you will drink!

1) Apple Cinnamon Detox Water

– 1 thinly sliced apple
– 1 stick of cinnamon
– 1 pitcher of water
– Ice

2) Cucumber, Lemon, Mint Detox Water

– 1/2 Cucumber
– 1 thinly sliced lemon
– 10 mint leaves
– 1 pitcher of water
– Ice

3) Lemon, Kiwi, Strawberry Detox Water

– 2 thinly sliced lemons
– 3 thinly sliced kiwis
– 3 cups of halved strawberries
– 1 pitcher of water
– Ice

4) Okra, Cucumber Detox Water

– chopped chunks of 6 okra pieces (okra as an ingredient might be surprising but it has the amazing benefit of blocking blood sugar spikes, so it is very supportive for those with diabetes or other blood sugar or insulin regulation concerns
– 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
– 1 pitcher of water
– Let sit overnight at room temp or in fridge, serve with as is, or with ice
